A stunning craftsman type home new construction that maintains the historic home look of the neighborhood.
The Ruiz residence project involved lifting the entire home on jacks to replace the entire foundation. This process then turned the entire remodel project into what became essentially an entire new home with only a few existing wall studs that remained intact and undisturbed. The first steps of this project were coming up with preliminary plans for city approval for what we started off with; a small addition in the rear of the house. Mr. Ruiz wanted to maintain the historic home look within the neighborhood and, create a stunning newer craftsman type home that both served his program functions, and gave enough yard space for the family, both in front and on the side yard.
